Remarkable Performance in Karnataka NTSE Stage-1 Result

Department of State Educational Research & Training, Bengluru (Karnataka) has declared the result of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage-1. Resonance Karnataka Base Study Centre’s outstanding performance in NTSE stage 1 has again demonstrated that the teaching methodology of Resonance is unsurpassable.

NTSE Stage-1, Result 2018-19 Karnataka

The Managing Director and Founder of Resonance Mr. R K Verma informed that total 114 students have been selected from the entire state & out of them 18 students are from Resonance (16 are from classroom & 2 students are from Distance Learning Division ). The stage 2 examination will take place on 12 May 2019.

The Result highlights are as follows :

  • Classroom student MEGHAN H K is a State Topper with 180 Marks (State Rank 1 in GEN category).
  • DLPD student POORVI H C has secured State Rank 1 in OBC Category.

He also told that, from this year onward NCERT has announced some changes in NTSE exam pattern. The Language (LCT) will not be held, only two papers (SAT & MAT) will be conducted in both the stages & no negative marking will be there. Now the time allotted for the examination will be 120 minutes for each paper. The selection of the awardees will be made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT & SAT – based on merit. Reservation of 27% for OBC category is also added from this year.

The First Stage of NTSE was held on 4th November 2018.

This year's cut off for the Karnataka NTSE Stage 1 exam is : Gen Category-151, Gen PH-69, OBC–131, OBC PH-88, SC category–110, SC PH-82, ST category–108, ST PH-73.
