NSTSE is scientifically designed skill based assessment developed in India for Indian Schools. This examination is conducted every year by Unified Council situated in Hyderabad. It is conducted separately for every class from class III to class XII. It is conducted only in one stage. NSTSE is conducted in English only. It is generally conducted every year in the month of January or February.

Application Forms :

In case the school is participating in NSTSE, the student can contact the School Principal / In-Charge Teacher for competitions for the application form of NSTSE.

In case the school is not participating in NSTSE, the complete address of the school can be mailed to exam@unifiedcouncil.com. Consequently, detailed information and registration forms will be sent to the school so that the School Principal / Science Teacher can register student's names for NSTSE.

One can also get a Free Printed Registration Form from Hyderabad office by writing a letter along with a self-addressed envelope with stamps Rs. 5/- .

One can also download the prospectus and registration form from the website. The filled application form can be directly sent to the Hyderabad office with required enclosures.

Syllabus : NSTSE follows CBSE syllabus for each class.

Examination Fee :

Students who wish to appear for NSTSE will have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 100/- through a crossed Demand Draft drawn on "UNIFIED COUNCIL" payable at Hyderabad.

Pattern of Question Paper :

The question paper for each class consists of Objective (Multiple Choice) questions. The number of questions may vary from class to class.

Classes IIIrd to XIIth. Total Questions : 100 (one mark each)

Subjective Classification of Questions:-

Class IV & V:- Mathematics : 45, General Science: 45, General Questions: 10

Class VI to X:- Mathematics : 25, Physics : 25, Chemistry :20, Biology : 20 & General questions:10

Class XI & XII (PCM) :- Mathematics:- 40, Physics:-25, Chemistry :25, General Questions: 10

Class XI & XII (PCB) :- Biology :- 40, Physics : 25, Chemistry 25, General Questions :10

Prizes and Awards :

Students will be awarded with certificate and performancewise many other prizes.

Results :

Results of NSTSE are declared normally on 1st March every year. Soon after the examination, answer keys for the question papers are available on the website www.unifiedcouncil.com.
